Irving Penn is a famous artist for his photography and painting. Throughout his life he shot mostly fashion and glamour photos for certain magazines. He was one of the very first photographers to pose his subjects in front of simple grey and white backdrops using the simplicity very effectively. Penn created a sort of corner in his backdrops and sometimes made the subject look like it was tightly closed in the corner.
